Guidelines for Our Community

All users are invited to contribute. We’d love for you to actively participate in the community. Below you will find our community guidelines, which apply to the entire «Jedes Alter zählt» (every age counts) online platform.

1 Respect and Politeness

• Treat other people and institutions with respect and courtesy.
• Personal attacks, insults, defamation, hate speech, or discriminatory remarks (e.g., based on origin, gender, religion, age, sexual orientation, etc.) will not be tolerated.

2 No spam, harassment, or advertising

• Please refrain from sending unsolicited advertisements, links to third-party websites, or self-promotion unless specifically requested
• Repeated posts that offer no value to the community are not permitted.

3 Privacy and Confidentiality

• Think carefully about what personal information you choose to share. Once something is published, it can be difficult to take back, and others might use it in unexpected ways.
• Do not share personal information about other people that could reveal their identity.
• Do not publish content or information from private conversations without the express consent of all parties involved.

4 Copyright and Authenticity

• Share only content that you have created yourself, or make sure you have the rights to share it.
• Do not impersonate another person or spread false or misleading information.

5 Constructive Discussions

• Express your views objectively and respectfully, even if you disagree.
• Avoid provocative or destructive discussions that could lead to conflict.

6 Reporting Violations

• If you notice any violations of our Community Guidelines, please report them by email to jedesalter@dynage.uzh.ch.

7 Consequences of Policy Violations

• We reserve the right not to publish posts, testimonials, or data, or to remove them from the platform.
• Serious violations may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans.
